HORTY HINTS

Chop and Pot! Pothos plants are one of the easiest plants to propagate. If you cut back your plant, keep the cuttings in water and soon they will grow new roots, which can then be planted.

Light

Epipremnum aureum prefers medium indirect light conditions. Avoid exposing to direct sunlight as this can burn the leaves.

Humidity

This Epipremnum prefers increased levels of humidity but will tolerate normal conditions. Consider misting to give your plant an extra boost.

Toxicity

Golden Pothos is mildly toxic to humans and harmful to pets. Keep away from children and animals.

Watering

This plant is drought tolerant but for best results, water your Pothos when the soil becomes slightly dry. Be aware: too much water will kill the plant.

Feed

Apply a weak general purpose fertiliser during the summer months.

Origin

Epipremnum aureum is native to French Polynesia and the Solomon Islands.

Temperature

Golden Pothos is happy in normal room temperatures: from 10-24°C. Avoid lower temperatures and cold draughts.

Height & Growth Rate

Fast-growing and can trail up to 20 metres! Cut back to maintain desired length. Please note smaller plants such as those in 12cm grow pots are young cuttings and not fully established plants.

Hi, I am Crassula Ovata, commonly known as Jade plant, friendship tree, lucky plant, or money tree, by whatever name you call me, I am your buddy.

I like being indoors or outdoors, just put me in a bright location, in direct light, indoor lighting will also works well for me.

Water me just right, may be once in a week, wait till the top of the soil is dry before watering because I store water. Also, be sure to use a container with a drainage hole to keep my soil from getting soggy. Allowing too much water will make me really sick.

Put me plant in a heavy container to help me balance my weight — as it can get top-heavy.

Dropped leaves or brown spots on leaves are signs that the I am thirsty.  I love average room temperatures between 15-24°C. and tolerate average room humidity and dry air.
